Executive Director Biography

Faustine E. Curry was named President and Chief Executive Officer of the Mount Pleasant/Titus County Chamber of Commerce in May of 2010. She directs the staff in member promotion and support and leads the organization in setting goals to further the healthy quality of life and business climate in Northeast Texas.

Prior to service with the Chamber, Faustine was employed as a criminal defense lawyer where she tried all types of criminal cases from misdemeanors to capital murder cases. She received her undergraduate degree from Texas Tech University in Public Relations her Juris Doctorate from Oklahoma City University School of Law.

Since joining the Chamber, Faustine has been named to the Board of Directors for the Texas Association of Business, Texas Forest Trails Regional, a program of the Texas Heritage Trails and the Northeast Texas Tourism Council.

Furthermore, in January of 2011 Faustine was selected to serve on the National Beef Speaker’s Bureau as a national speaker promoting the Beef Industry. The Bureau is a joint program with the American National Cattlewomen and The Beef Check-off.

In addition to her Chamber work, Faustine’s civic activities include: Junior Achievement as a board member, Rotary Club, Lions Club and Tennison Memorial United Methodist Church. She is also a horse enthusiast and competes as an equestrian in jumping events.
